Our sister brand, Five Star Rentals, gave you 3 reasons to visit the Destin/30A area this fall. Below we are giving you a play by play of all the events you don't want to miss out on! With the official kickoff of Fall, expect thinner crowds, cooler temperatures, and lots of activity under our dazzling Emerald waters. Fish are moving about en masse and this is the season where you'll see first hand how we warned the moniker, "World's Luckiest Fishing Village."

Destin Fishing Rodeo
October

Fishing in Destin is unlike any other place in the world and from October 1st through the 31st, our hometown will show you how to celebrate out on the waters. To join in on the fun, be sure to charter a boat and loop in a captain who knows the waters. Destin has the largest charter fishing fleet in the country, so booking a boat is a breeze. Reach out to HarborWalk Charters or any of the local charters to show off your fishing chops. Head over to AJ's to weigh in and see where you fare out. Stick around for a celebration of the long-standing anglers tradition.

Did you know you can attend beach bonfires for free throughout the entire Fall season? Royal Palm Grille makes it possible and this year they're making sure to provide chairs at a distance. Hang out, peruse their drink specials, warm up with some Smore's, and grab a bite to eat from their full menu; including sushi, sandwiches, and more. Learn more when you visit their Facebook here.

If you're planning on coming in town to attend, be sure to book your stay with Bliss Beach Rentals or Five Star Properties, here. This Fall has featured a few cancellations due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but there are still a few going strong, while accounting for social distancing practices. Will you be attending?
