While Destin isn't Mobile or New Orleans, we still know how to celebrate Mardi Gras! Destin has a Mardi Gras Masquerade on March 1st, a Mardi Gras parade on March 2nd, and a Fat Tuesday celebration in HarborWalk Village on March 5th. If you're looking for a great way to celebrate Mardi Gras in a family-friendly environment, Destin is the perfect place to go!

Mardi Gras Masquerade

Destin Commons is hosting a Mardi Gras Masquerade for the whole family on March 1st from 6 pm - 8 pm. The event will feature live music, a photo booth, and face-painting. If you're in town, be sure to stop by and partake in the festivities!

Mardi Gras Parade on the Destin Harbor

In addition to the masquerade, you can also attend Destin's Mardi Gras Parade. The parade takes place on Saturday, March 2nd at 2 pm on the Destin Harbor. There will be street performers, live music, beads, and more! Best of all, it's an event your entire family can enjoy!

Fat Tuesday Celebration at HarborWalk Village

Last but not least, Mardi Gras wouldn't be complete without a big Fat Tuesday celebration! Head over to HarborWalk Village to enjoy free red beans and rice and to enter your pet in the Mardi Gras pet costume contest. The celebration begins at 5 pm and the contest starts at 6 pm! Like the other events, this is also family-friendly and kid-appropriate.
