8 Affordable or Free Activities for Kids in 30A

If you have small kids, then 30A is the vacation destination for you. Traveling with little ones can be tricky and it’s hard to find something the entire family wants to do. Moreover, taking young kids on a trip can completely defeat the purpose of a vacation if you’re constantly trying to entertain them to no avail. Luckily, the towns along 30A understand the struggle, so there are plenty of activities for children and you can even get some much needed R&R. The best part is that most of these activities are 100% free, so you won’t break the bank and your kids will have a blast.

1. All You Need is Fun Kids Improv Bootcamp

For just $25, your kids can take an acting class with Northwest Florida’s premiere theatre, The REP. Drop your kids off at the REP Theatre in Seaside from 2 pm – 3:15 pm every Tuesday and Thursday through August 8th, and your kids will enjoy a silly and entertaining acting class with professional actors. After the class, swing by the Seaside Amphitheater at 4 pm to enjoy an improv performance during Stories by the Sea. Admission to the improv show is also free for all kids who participated in the bootcamp.

2. Huck and Lilly’s Music Performance

Head on over to the Seaside Amphitheater on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm to enjoy a musical performance your children will love. Andi Zack-Johnson and Ken Johnson are two talented singer/songwriters who transform into caricatures of themselves, Huck and Lilly. Andi and Ken’s motto is “music for kids and the grown-ups who love them,” so this is a show that your family won’t want to miss.
