Destin Tours: What’s your adventure level?
See Destin from Every Angle: What’s Your Adventure level?
Although Destin may not be large, there sure is a lot to see! There is more than one way to get your sight-seeing in while visiting Destin, and each option offers a unique perspective of the fishing village turned resort haven. How you see Destin is up to you!
Adventure level: I like to feel the adrenaline!
Helicopter Tours – Perhaps one of the best views of the beautiful Destin is from above. Take a helicopter tour and view the brilliant blue and green waters of the Gulf of Mexico from high in the sky.
Parasail – View Destin from up to 400 feet up in the air as you parasail with up to three of your closest friends and bond while making a memory you’ll never forget.
Snorkeling – It’s a whole other world under the sea! Take a 2+ hour snorkeling trip to the Destin Jetties and Coast Guard Flats. Be on the lookout for hermit crabs, colorful fish, and dolphins!
Glass Bottom Boat Tour – Your Destin experience isn’t complete until you get out on the water! One of the best ways to do that is by taking a Glass Bottom Boat Tour! You’ll get to see the harbor, soak in the sun, and maybe even see some dolphins!
Sunset and Firework Cruise – Tour the Destin Harbor on a luxury catamaran and enjoy unobstructed views from anywhere on the boat. You’ll get to watch the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico and will have the option to watch a spectacular fireworks display as well! Soda, water and beer included on Sunset and Firework tours.
Adventure level: Let’s do something different!
Segway Tours- This is a new attraction opened in Destin! Glide through paradise on a Segway. Tours will take you through HarborWalk Village, to the original settlement site of Destin, Clement Taylor Park, and the Destin History and Fishing Museum. Segways are great fun to ride and there are plenty of stops for photo opportunities.
Bike Tours- Rent bikes from Coastal Cruisers and enjoy the freedom of leading your own tour down Scenic Gulf Drive with large paved bike paths right along the gulf! The warm Florida weather is great for biking, and if it gets too hot take a break and go for a swim. You can stop at one of the many restaurants for a bite to eat, stop by local shops, and enjoy your bike rental for the full day.
Adventure level: I’d feel best with my feet firmly on the ground.
Hike Destin –Henderson Beach Nature Trail displays the white sand dunes in Destin and maritime forest. There are a variety of other hiking and walking trails throughout the area that you can explore!
