Big Kahuna’s Waterpark Is Right Here In Destin
Destin has no shortage of fun activities for families. Big Kahuna’s Hours And Pricing
Every day through August 20th, the waterpark is open from 10 am – 6 pm. Additionally, the Adventure Park is open from 2 pm – 10 pm until August 6th. Starting August 6th, the park will close at 9 pm. After August 20th the park will only be open on the weekends. Tickets online cost $49.99 and tickets at the gate cost $54.99. If you don’t have a printer, don’t worry because Big Kahuna’s can scan your ticket code off of your mobile device. You can also purchase a Summer Splash Pass for only $44.99 which will give you unlimited access to the park through September 3rd.
Attractions For Everyone
Because Big Kahuna’s has a wide range of attractions for all ages, the entire family will have a blast. One of the attractions includes the Honolulu Half Pipe, which is a surfing simulator where surfers ride the perfect wave as it pumps 17,000 gallons of water per minute. Additionally, Jumanji is another ride for the thrill-seekers as the riders free fall through total darkness.
While there are tons of activities for adults and older kids, there are also plenty of rides for younger children in addition to Bombs Away Bay. Bombs Away Bay includes a splash pool for young kids, a pirate ship, and plenty of waterfalls. The depth ranges from 0 ft to 5 ft in Bombs Away Bay, so no matter your swim level, you can have a blast.
In addition to the rides, slides, and Bombs Away Bay, Big Kahuna’s also has three different rivers. Their lazy river takes riders on a gentle relaxing ride through the park on inner tubes. However, Humanga River, Thunder River, and Raging Rhino River a for the more advanced rider with waves, rapids, turns, and drops.
The Adventure Park offers another set of fun attractions and mini golfing, so even if you don’t want to get wet, Big Kahuna’s has something for you.
