The countdown to Christmas has begun and the holiday events have already started filling up our events calendar. We might be a primarily summer destination, but things don’t cool down in the winter! We keep up the heat (still experiencing upwards of 60 degree weather in December) with plenty of festive events! Destin Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 12, 10AM
The theme of this year’s parade is “A Storybook Christmas.”The floats will start at Downtown Destin Shopping Center (Old Time Pottery) and travel west down Harbor Blvd. (Hwy 98) to Nightown on Stahlman Avenue.
Destin Harbor Boat Parade
Sunday, December 13, 6PM
Head out to the Destin Harbor for dancing holiday lights and decorated boats trailing down the harbor at the 28th Annual Destin Boat Parade.There will also be live music, children's arts and crafts and hot chocolate! Santa Claus will be present from 12-4PM. Boat Parade begins at 6PM.
Baytowne on Ice
Everyday from December 1 to December 31 from 11AM to 10PM
Strap up into rented ice skates and enjoy the seasonal iceskating rink at Baytowne Wharf! This is a great family activity.
